BAGGAGE will be released Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 7:00p. This film is a part of Moving Through, a month-long series of dance and movement for times of change, produced in creative collaboration with Metro Art Presents & Pieter Performance Space.
This film celebrates origin stories and embodies the many histories of arrivals and departures at the station and in our lives. Jay's personal family narrative is unpacked through music, dance, and memory inside the Union Station Ticketing Hall. The work centers on healing and releasing intergenerational trauma.
